Passengers taking post Pandemic trips across the globe will now get the taste of Manchester Airport’s new ‘super terminal’ that has already started operations.
Manchester Airport Group - MAG’s £1bn signature facility opened to its first customers last week, with flights initially being operated by Jet.com, TUI and then Singapore Airlines.
After these inaugurations, and as travel restrictions ease gradually, the Northern gateway has confirmed the next wave of airlines that will start flying from the new state-of-the-art T2.
Proudly introducing #YourNewT2 ✈️ After 83 years of being the UK's global gateway in the North, we can't wait to welcome the first passengers to our new T2 from July 14th!

The Terminal Two extension was inaugurated on 14th July with Jet2.com as the first airline. Then TUI came to action, operating from there on 15th July.
Old Customer Singapore Airlines followed next, moving over on Saturday; the next airlines to move will be Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways and Brussels Airlines tomorrow on 20th July. airBaltic will then go over on 21st July, followed by Ethiopian Airlines on 22nd July.
???? @SingaporeAir are back! Having recently celebrated their 50th anniversary of flying from the UK, we're so happy to see the return of their A350-900, operating 3 x weekly flights to Singapore ????????

airBaltic is new to Manchester Airport; it started services to Riga in Latvia earlier this month. Singapore Airlines has flown from Manchester Airport for more than 30 years and will once again connect the North to the Far East and beyond through the excellent onward connectivity at the carrier’s Changi Airport.
Travellers using these airlines from the dates above should now use Terminal Two. If anyone has Manchester Airport car park or lounge bookings, these will be moved across and customers notified accordingly.
As summer travel peaks up , and international travel restrictions ease, further airlines are expected to move across and they will be communicated appropriately.
Passengers can also keep an eye on the airport’s social media channels for the latest advice, guidance and information.
The first flight to depart from #YourNewT2 is @jet2tweets LS579 to Menorca ☀️
