The Business Consolidation due to Pandemic !

 

On Tuesday AIM Altitude said, it had consolidated its manufacturing facilities and would close the Dafen plant in South wales.

 

 

Though Company is doing its best to save the interest, definitely , It is not a good news for the 99 workers of the facility during Pandemic .

 

-AIM Altitude , an aircraft Cabin Interior maker & a supplier to biggies like Airbus is facing fierce competions and lower demands due to travel slump.

 

 


 

 

At an earlier occasion , the Bournemouth based firm had said , closing the factory was an option as it responded to "unprecedented and major challenges" to the sector.

 

The company is said  to have taken other measures, including making use of the UK government furlough scheme, reducing overhead costs and receiving support from shareholders.

 

 


"The coronavirus pandemic has created unprecedented and major challenges for the airline industry and, in line with other companies in the aerospace sector, AIM Altitude's production has been adversely affected by the situation," the company said.

 

 

The Welsh Goverment Involvement.


It seems, The Welsh Government's earlier statement of  "been in touch" with the company to save the jobs in Llanelli could not bring much relief.
