Earlier in January, Saudi Arabia lifted the Ban , that paved way for the Blockade to be ended , Qatar & Saudi Arabia open Air , sea & Land routes for each other, in which Kuwait played an important role.

Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs, sheikh Ahmed Naser Al-Sabah was first to announce the agreement between Saudi Arabia & Qatar to open the Air ,Sea & Land routes in the month of January.

Bahrain had also officially updated its NOTAMs to remove its airspace ban on Qatar, which lasted 3.5 years ( followed Saudi Arabia and UAE in removing the bans).

In 2017, Saudi Arabia & its allies Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt had closed their borders to Qatar, in a rare Blockade.
