Indian Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has taken charge of the Ministry at a time, when Aviation is passing through a historical crisis due to the Covid-19 Pandemic Onslaught.
Yet there are efforts to bring it back to the track and today Civil Aviation Ministry ( MoCA) has formed three separate advisory Panels to Reinforce Aviation in India under the Minister's Leadership.
The Three Advisory Groups are,
The core function of these Advisory Panels shall be to work on their verticals continuously and resolve any challenges faced by the sector, an official statement said on Wednesday.
When Aviation across the Globe is reeling under the pressure of battered Air travel, India is not inert to it , and the Indian aviation sector is at a Bad shape currently due to the Second Covid-19 Wave, that has hammered majority of players in the Industry.
When expectations from the New Civil Aviation minister and the ministry bureaucrats is at an all time high, Ministry took it to the Twitter & said,
"Under the chairmanship of the Honourable Minister of Civil Aviation, Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) has formed three advisory groups comprising airlines, airport operators and MRO, cargo carriers, FTOs and ground handling companies."
"The groups shall meet regularly to deliberate upon issues and resolve challenges facing each sector. Orders have been issued for the same," it added.
Under the chairmanship of the Hon’ble Minister of Civil Aviation, Sh @JM_Scindia , MoCA has formed three advisory groups comprising Airlines, Airport Operators and MRO, Cargo Carriers, FTOs & Ground Handling companies.

The groups shall meet regularly to deliberate upon issues and resolve challenges facing each sector. Orders have been issued for the same.

The three Advisory groups will Consist of Minister Scindia , Minister of State, Ministry bureaucrats , Airport Authority of India , Indian Aviation Regulator-DGCA and other Private and Government Players.
The Panel for airlines will have representation from both Government and Private Airlines, that will include airline bosses like Raiv Bansal- CMD, Air India , Rahul Bhatia of IndiGo, Bhaskar Bhat from Vistara, Ajay Singh of SpiceJet, Ness Wadia from Go Air, Sunil Bhaskaran of AirAsia India.
The Airline Panel will advise the Civil Aviation Ministry on steps required for the welfare of the Carriers and the range of tasks will involve improvement of domestic and international connectivity, improvement of financial viability of carriers and other regulatory issues.
The airport operators group will see members of representation from Adani airports business, GMR group, Bangalore International Airport and others.
This group will be responsible to frame steps required to enhance airport facilities , capacity, infrastructure upgradation and improving customer experience.
The Third advosory group will have representation of key personnels from Indian Aircraft MRO (Maintenance Repair & Overhaul) Companies, Cargo operators, ground Handling Agencies and Flight training organizations.
The civil aviation industry will Look to recover at the earliest, but the challenges like Lock downs, Travel restrictions, Financial Turmoil, Cap on Air fares and Capacity are a definite Handicap for Industry Players.
It will be a tough task for the New minister to safe guard the interests of both Aviation and Travellers, when the Price sensitive industry asks for more , and key Reforms of the Industry are Long due.
Yet to be confirmed Sources say that the first meeting of the newly Formed Aviation advisory group is going to happen this Friday.
