Leasing company BOC Aviation Limited has completed the delivery of six Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners to Norwegian carrier Norse Atlantic Airways . All six aircraft are powered by Rolls Royce Trent 1000 TEN engines.
In Aug 2021 , BOC Aviation Limited had announced the lease agreement of six used Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners with Norwegian carrier Norse Atlantic Airways , which helped Bjørn Tore Larsen , founder and Chief Executive Officer of Norse to start his flights for the transatlantic travel.
“The delivery of these six aircraft reflects the strong level of teamwork and cooperation between Norse Atlantic and ourselves,” said Robert Martin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, BOC Aviation. “We look forward to working with Norse on its future fleet requirements and remain committed to providing all our customers with fuel-efficient and technologically advanced aircraft.”

Norse is expanding its fleet and selected routes , It is being learnt , by March 2023, the UK subsidiary of Norse Atlantic Airways is launching a batch of new routes between London Gatwick and various US hubs such as Los Angeles and San Francisco in California and Orlando in Florida.
In another development , Norse Atlantic Airways has chosen Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) MRO for its fleet of 12 Boeing 787 aircraft. Main Base Kit, logistics support services.
In its Sub-lease business , Norse Atlantic Airways has signed a term sheet for the 18-month sublease of a fifth aircraft , a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. The agreement is in addition to the four previously announced aircraft that have been subleased to Air Europa.
If you see their fleet , Norse has taken delivery of 13 of a total fleet of 15 Boeing 787 Dreamliners. All 15 aircraft are on long-term flexible lease terms agreed during 2021 when lease rates were at historical low prices, hence sub-lease is a good business now, when carriers are desperate for serviceable aircraft to meet travel demands.
“This additional sublease agreement provides a further opportunity to increase total cash profit during the lease period. We intend to operate 10 Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft during our summer 2023 season, which will mark a substantial increase compared to our launch phase in 2022,” said Bjørn Tore Larsen, CEO Norse Atlantic Airways.
