New South Wales Police has confirmed the fatality of two occupants (men) of a Light Aircraft (Cessna R172K) Crash in the Yass Valley (Sutton) just across the ACT border.
According to NSW Police sources, the 31-year-old pilot from country Victoria and an 18-year-old from Albury, NSW, were declared dead in the crash from yesterday afternoon.
The ATSB is investigating the case of aircraft registered VH-DLA's collision with terrain near sutton .

The aircraft belonged to the Oberon Aviation Services and their employees were performing aerial inspections of powerlines for Essential Energy, the region's electricity supplier, while it got crashed.
Oberon Aviation Services released a statement saying, it would "leave no stone unturned" in uncovering the cause of the crash.
"This is a very difficult time for us – we’re a small aviation business company, and family, and have lost two of our members," the statement read.
"Our focus right now is to provide support for the families of our crew members, and our staff, as we all grieve this loss."
Essential Energy's statement reads,
"thoughts remain with the families, friends and colleagues of the two people who died".
