The All- Female Flight !

 

Denver international Airport welcomed the move with the water cannon salute and United Airlines made it possible by operating the  all female Flight  from  Denver (DEN)  to  Kalispel (FCA), montana .


When did that happen ?

 

The  Flight -2392  from Denver on Thursday - 8th april is a symbol of woman power and encourages women from all the walk to take up leading roles in aviation industry .

 

The Airbus A320-232 aircraft registered N457UA took off at  11.15 AM  from Denver and landed at montana at 01.10 PM Local time .

What does United Airlines Say ?

 

The airline says the all-female flight celebrates the talented women who already work in those positions and how they can inspire another generation to join a traditionally male-dominated industry.

 

What did the Captain of the Flight say ?

 

“The people that are doing the work behind the scenes, the women today, the dispatchers, the rampers, the mechanics, the flight attendants, the people who clean the cabin, the people who are catering the aircraft, they’re all women,” said United Captain M’Liss Ward, one of the two pilots in the cockpit for the flight. says a CBS Denver source. 

 

 

 

 

The efforts are a part of the new chapter of its business resource group, uIMPACT , to improve diversity, inclusion, and gender equality.

 

In another development ,  united has announced  that it would train 5,000 pilots by 2030, out of which, half of those trainees would be women or people of color.

The satisfaction being part of it !

 

“We want to really encourage the younger female generation and younger people of color to entertain an aviation career,” said United Captain Heather Loomis, a pilot for more than 30 years who was also on that flight. “It’s really fun, it’s exciting, everyday is different, and it’s really rewarding and lucrative.”

 

 

The Goal !

 

Being part of the flight , the all women team kept a goal  to encourage young girls and women from a diverse world to join them in a challenging aviation industry !
