Aircraft is definitely old with 31.3 years of age, but fit for flying and Proflight Zambia is happy to celebrate the arrival of its first Boeing narrow body Aircraft , that's a 126-seater B37-500 aircraft (ZS-TGY), leased from Africa Charter Airline.
Proflight Zambia is making constatnt progress in fleet expansion and getting a market share , as the Boeing 737 will be the third Jet added to Proflight’s fleet since emerging from the COVID pandemic in 2022.
Noteworthy is , with this Boeing 737, the current fleet will reach to eight aircraft: including three 50-seater Bombardier CRJ-100/200 jets, three 29-seater Jetstream 41 aircraft, and one 18-seater Jetstream 32 aircraft.
Proflight Zambia says ,
The introduction of the Boeing 737 represents a major advancement for Proflight, enhancing its ability to cater to its expanding customer base with increased comfort, reliability, and efficiency. The aircraft has six abreast seating and large overhead baggage stowage that will offer a superior journey to passengers with an improved level of comfort.
The aircraft, that had been a part of carriers like China Southern Airlines, Transaero Airlines, VIM Airlines before to this, was a part of Africa Charter Airline fro year 2017, and made a flight from Johannesburg (JNB) to Lusaka (LUN) , to join the Proflight Zambia fleet.
