First time in its history, Frontier Airlines will offer First-Class travel to its customers, expected late 2025.

Frontier is breaking barriers with free, unlimited companion travel* for Platinum and Diamond Elite members starting mid-2025.
So, that seems to be a new startegy, which it calls as "next phase", for Ultra low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines, that will offer premium class travel to its passengers, for the first time in its history, starting in late 2025.
As per the announcement, the first-class seats will be located in the first two rows of the plane and will “provide unmatched comfort and space.”
The company press release read,

"Rolling out in 2025, these enhancements deliver more comfort, value, and rewards for travelers. Key features include First Class seating, free seat upgrades into Frontier’s premium seat offerings for Elite members, unlimited free companion travel,* and more ways to redeem FRONTIER Miles."
The airline already offers premium seating, which includes extra legroom, and preferred seating, which allows customers to choose a seat toward the front of the plane.
The airline will also begin to offer complimentary upgrades to its Elite Gold and higher members starting earlier in the year. These upgrades will eventually include first-class seating.
The company calls the move as a customer-focused transformation.
The new features mark the second phase of The New Frontier, Frontier’s customer-focused transformation, delivering even more value for less.
Additionally, in mid-2025, Frontier will start offering free, unlimited companion travel for its Platinum and Diamond Elite members. These free seats are still subject to taxes and fees.
Customers will also be able to use Frontier Miles to purchase things like bags and seat bundles starting in 2025. Previously, these miles could only purchase flights.

To attract customers, Frontier rolled out the first phase of its New Frontier initiative earlier this year, offering transparent pricing, no fees for changes or cancellations, and new customer support options, including live phone assistance.

For the Free Seat Upgrades, the company's press release read,
Starting early 2025, Frontier’s Elite loyalty members will enjoy free upgrades on every flight, subject to availability and status level. From UpFront Plus seating with guaranteed empty middle seats to premium First Class seating (available late 2025), the upgrade options ensure more comfort for valued customers. This enriches the benefits of Gold Status and above (those members currently receive complimentary upgrades to Premium seats, when available).
The carrier said, FRONTIER Miles is free to join and offers the highest earn per dollars spent in the airline industry, with 10 Miles earned for every $1 spent. There are four status levels – Silver (10K), Gold (20K), Platinum (50K) and Diamond (100K).
Frontier's Gold Elite members and above currently enjoy Free carry-on bag, Free checked bag, including golf, ski or scuba gear, Free pet-in-cabin (Platinum level and above) and Mileage multiplier that increases at each level, with up to 20x miles earned per dollar spent.
