Korean Air Lines submitted a post-merger integration plan to the Korea Development Bank (KDB).
KDB might take around a month, before confirmation of the plan.

Maintaining the Asiana Airlines employees & managing the integration of Asiana Airlines’ low-cost carriers like 'Air Busan' & 'Air Seoul' with 'Jin Air' , another budget carrier that is 56.38% owned by Hanjin KAL, are some of the challenges, KAL will face, in time to come.
Earlier , Korean Air Lines had announced, it would acquire Asiana Airlines with the help of the state-run KDB last November.
