Indigo does it again - Baby girl born Mid air on board IndiGo's Bengaluru-Jaipur flight (6E 469) on Wednesday morning with the help of cabin crew & a doctor, who was a co-passenger.
"The baby was delivered with the help of the IndiGo crew, assisted by Dr. Subahana Nazir, travelling with us on the same flight," the airline's statement says.
Jaipur airport was immediately informed to arrange for a doctor and an ambulance on arrival, it added.
Aircraft Involved - Airbus A320Neo (VT-ITI)
Both the baby & mother are stable.
Last time, this happened with one of the Indigo flights (6E-122) from Delhi to Bengaluru on 7th October 2020. Luckily , that time also ,there was a doctor onboard as a co-passenger.
