Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) called Urgent Meeting !

 

After Bamboo Airways Chairman 'Trinh Van Quyet' was detained by the investigating agency , the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) held an urgent meeting with post holders of Bamboo Airways to assess risks and ensure absolute flight safety !

 

Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) Planned Actions :

 
  • A CAAV report on Bamboo Airways’ operations will be submitted to the Ministry of Transport, Vietnam.
 
  • CAAV will not monitor the Bamboo Airways more strictly in the next three - six months.
 

Deputy General Director of Bamboo Airways Nguyen Ngoc Trong said since March 29 evening , the firm’s leaders have assessed risks and impacts on its operations after the sudden move related to its top leader.

 

 Assurance from Bamboo Airways leadership :

 
  • All the persons holding the leadership and management positions are unaffected by this.
 
  • High-quality personnel, including pilots, flight attendants, and engineers are being maintained.
 
  • Financial institutions like banks and credit organisations having existing contracts with Bamboo Airways have pledged to continue the signed contracts.
 

Reports say , Chairman Trinh Van Quyet had been temporarily detained on the charge of stock market manipulation.

 


 

Last month , Bamboo Airways  had  shown  interest  of  Purchasing  Boeing's Upcoming B777X  aircraft  in an attempt to expand its presence in Europe , Australia , and the US .

 

Founded in 2017, the Hanoi based Carrier launched it's operations on 16th January 2019 , and has an operation to around 29 destinations with a fleet of three B787-9 Dreamliners , Eight Airbus A321 , Twelve A320 , Five Embraer 190 and one  A319 aircraft.
