Nigerian civil Aviation Ministry is no way taking a step back, it says, the ban continues on Emirates airline, the official carrier of the UAE, which it says, was due to its discriminatory policy on the COVID-19 test for Nigerians.
On Monday, Aviation minister Hadi Sirika had disclosed that the federal government placed a ban on Emirates until further notice.
Spokesperson for the Ministry of Aviation says, Emirates airline insists on bringing passengers into the country but refuses to take them to the UAE , which was discriminatory & the federal government would not continue to allow that.
Earlier, on February 11th, Emirates had announced the suspension of outbound flights from Nigeria to Dubai, stating that inbound flights to Nigeria would still be in operation.
