An Antonov Airlines Antonov AN-124 aircraft did a runway excursion at Sao Paulo Guarulhos,SP (Brazil) airport, while making a landing attempt with 60 tons of personal protective equipments for Brazil's Ministry of Health.
The aircraft registrered as UR-82007 was carrying out a flight ADB-3829 from Paramaribo (Suriname) to Sao Paulo Guarulhos,SP (Brazil) landed on Sao Paulo's runway at around 04:49Local time, but overran the runway end and came to a stop with the nose gear on soft ground.
No injuries have been reoprted due to the incident and the aircraft sustained minor damages.
The Sao Paulo runway remained closed for some time, till the time aircraft could be pulled back from the soft soil.
An investigation has been opened to the incident.
