Indian Rupsi Airport of assam province , that is operating under Airport Authority of India, is going to get connected to the world map for commercial transactions in an effort to increase connectivity to North east sector.
Yesterday , new indian regional airline flybig carried out successful Commercial trial flight from Guwahati using it's ATR-72 aircraft.
Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) quotes,
A trial flight by@flybigairlines landed safely on 5th May at Rupsi Airport, Assam, an #UDAN initiative. Once fully operational, this will open a host of economic & tourism opportunities. Kudos to the team for making this happen during such testing times.

Indian Civil aviation secretary Usha Padhee said ,
