Indian City Kurnool got connected to the world aviation, when Indigo's ATR-72 aircraft landed on the city airport, for the first time.
This is the first RCS (regional connectivity scheme) flight under indian government's ambitious #UDAN project. operated by
Indigo aircraft was welcomed with traditional water cannons on landing at the newly inaugurated 'Kurnool Airport' on 28th March.

Kurnool is the 6th airport in Andhra Pradesh to get functional after Kadapa, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Rajahmundry & Vijayawada.
