European Space Agency (ESA) will accept the applications for astronaut selection on 31 March.

UKSEDS is Offering a number of grants to cover the cost of the medical examination that is required as part of the selection of applicants.

This will provide successful applicants with the opportunity to apply for the ESA programme when, otherwise, they would have financially struggled.

This offer is also open to the Parastronaut Programme and the deadline is set as 2nd april 2021.

To qualify for the grant, below are the basic criteria :

• Meet ESA’s eligibility criteria
• Demonstrate financial need
• Have been enrolled at a university within the last 5 years (including postgrad. study)
• Be a UK national.
