In a Special meeting of the European Council of 24 February 2022 , President von der Leyen at the joint press conference with President Michel and President Macron said , five pillars of sanctions on Russia have been determined to have maximum impact on Russia's Economy.
The first is the financial sector; second, the energy sector; the third is the transport sector; fourth are export controls and the ban of export financing; and finally, visa policy. Let me highlight some of the most important points.
Under the Pillar of the transport sanction , the European Union has adopted the decision to ban exports to Russia of any goods and technology 'suited for use in aviation and the space industry' in a reaction to developments in Ukraine.
"Decision 2022/327 introduces an export ban covering goods and technology suited for use in aviation and the space industry [of Russia] and prohibits the provision of insurance and reinsurance and maintenance services in relation to those goods and technology," the Official Journal of the European Union said.
"we ban the sale of all aircrafts, spare parts and equipment to Russian airlines.",said President von der Leyen of Council of the European Union announcing five pillars of sanctions on Russia!

The ban also applies to "the provision of technical assistance and other related services as well as financing and financial assistance" with regard to said goods and technology, it said.
