Menzies Aviation 's New Achievement in Australia - First engineering contract with LATAM Airlines !

Menzies Aviation has secured its first engineering contract in Australia with long term customer , LATAM Airlines. The agreement will see Menzies provide a full suite of engineering services to LATAM at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD) and Auckland International Airport (AKL).

Menzies Aviation became the world’s largest aviation services company in 2022 when Agility, a Kuwait based supply chain services, infrastructure and innovation company, bought the business. As part of the deal, Menzies combined with 'National Aviation Services' under the Menzies brand to accelerate growth and shape the future of aviation.

In an expansion drive , after being taken over for 608 pence a share by Kuwaiti company Agility (National Aviation Services) , Menzies Aviation initiated process to acquire 70% of Fly Montenegro Ground Handling , Montenegro and Flystar Aviation Services, Serbia , which provide ground services at three airports.

Menzies Aviation provides air cargo , fuel and ground services at 254 airports in 58 countries , making us the world’s largest aviation services company by number of countries and second largest by number of airports served.

LATAM will operate up to 7 flights a week in Sydney and 14 flights a week in Auckland and this contract win marks the first piece of engineering business with LATAM across the entire Menzies Aviation network.

Menzies already provides engineering services for a number of other domestic and international, narrow and wide body airlines at Macau International Airport (MFM), Auckland International Airport (AKL), Christchurch Airport (CHC), Wellington Airport (WLG) and Hamilton Airport (HLZ).

However, this contract is a significant win for Menzies as it plans to grow its engineering services throughout Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia. Menzies will be expanding engineering services to Queenstown Airport (ZQN) by the end of 2022.
