Yesterday, a 55 years old pilot José Manuel Salazar Navarro took off from the La Paragua airstrip to Alto Paragua with his Cessna C-182Q Skylane aircraft to get some supplies.
Unfortunately, the aircraft registered as YV2324 lost the engine power and crashed to a bushy terrain in the act of taking off .
Propeller of the aircraft could be seen sheared from the aircraft and fuselage completely crushed.
This caused the death of the pilot instantly, who suffered multiple fractures during the crash.
The aircraft also received damages beyond repair possibilities. Further investigation of the accident is being done.
