Kuwait Civil Aviation Regulator ,DGCA has categorically said that the Claims of Fire on Gulf Air Landing Indcident are "Inacurate" and there were no fire on the aircraft.
DGCA statement reads as ,
"Concerned Authorities managed the Incident following emergency Protocols"
The statement further added that, authorities are investigating the Incident as per International Safety Procedures and regulations.
Earlier Gulf Air had said that Flight GF215 from Bahrain to Kuwait was involved in a minor incident while landing at Kuwait International Airport.
All the occupants that include 62 passengers and 7 crew members had been safely evacuated.
The A321 Aircraft comes installed with two IAE V2533-A5 Engines and has been operating under Gulf Air from 29/03/2012 .
