A Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 605 Business jet crashed into the woods while making an attempt to land at the Truckee-Tahoe Airport followed by a brush fire on Monday afternoon.
The Bombardier aircraft that belonged to 'Tarco Aircraft Funding LLC' , registered as N605TR, was completely destroyed when it made an impact to the dense wooded terrain, near Ponderosa Golf Course, about 1/2 Miles West/NW of the airport while on approach to Truckee Airport (TRK/KTRK), Truckee, California.

According to Bombardier Aircraft Inc., the CL 600 jet is designed to carry 11 passengers and two crew members. Its maximum occupancy is 18.#California pic.twitter.com/jnj9VjfY2q
Federal Aviation Administration sources said, " a Bombardier CL 600 jet crashed while the pilot attempted to land at the Truckee-Tahoe Airport. Officials with the airport said the plane was found on the golf course, luckily no one on the ground was hurt and no structures were damaged."
According to the air traffic control audio, the pilot noted he needed circle (360 degree turn) the runway before landing. Air traffic controllers gave him the clearance to land but many witnesses saw the aircraft in a very sharp right turn before impact.
Aircraft has been damaged beyond recovery , all the four Occupants have been declared as fatally injuired, Further investigation to the accident is under progress .
