Due to unknown reasons, a Transall C-160 cargo aircraft (regd. EY-360) caught fire just after landing at the dusty Dolow Airfield, Somalia on 3rd September.
Aircraft was completely burnt without any recovery. No injuiries reported yet.
It is being suspected that hard landing followed by hydraulic fluid fire was the reason behind the accident .
Aircraft was carrying a cargo load from Mogadishu Aden Adde International Airport (MGQ/HCMM), Somalia to Dolow , Gedo region.
