In-flight Shut Down at FL210 !
On 13th July, a Voyageur Airways De Havilland Canada Dash 8-102 aircraft Operating a flight from Hamilton (YHM) to Montreal (YMX) faced engine issues Leading to In-flight Shut Down (IFSD), while Climbing through FL210 (21000 Feet) at around 06.43AM UTC.
In an Unavoidable incident, Cockpit decided to declare Emergency, and to Land immediately, aircraft got Diverted to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) , where it made a safe Landing on runway 05, without any further happenings or safety breach. All the Occupants are learnt to be safe.

Voyageur Airways was carrying out Flight VC103 using the Dash 8 aircraft registered as C-GKON , that comes installed with two P&W 'PWC PW120A' turboprop engines.
This particular aircraft has done a long journey in it's Life cycles, where it was used by three other Airlines , Air Ontario (1989) , Air Canada Regional (2001) and Jazz aviation (2002) at different period of time.
Aircraft has been operating under Voyageur Airways from year 2020 under the same Canadian registry and current age of the aircraft is 32.5 years.
