Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) is under pressure for strict monitoring of carriers in compliance with the flight rules , particularly the aircraft flying under Visual Flight Rules (VFR) , after shocking crash of Tara Air DHC-6-300 Twin Otter.

► the aircraft crashed in Nepal's mountainous Mustang area at 14,500ft on Sunday ,
► A team of experienced international and national mountain guides on Tuesday retrieved the black box of the crashed aircraft.
► All remaining bodies have been collected and have been brought to Kathmandu.
► A preliminary investigation made by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has shown that the Tara Air crash incident might have occurred due to bad weather conditions.

On 29th May , 1979 built Tara Air DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft (9N-AET) carrying 19 passengers and 3 crew members had gone missing, while doing a flight from Nepal’s Pokhara (PKR / VNPK) to Jomsom (VNJS) at 9:55am Nepal time.
This is the third fatal accident and fourth aircraft loss for the carrier in it's 13 years history. As per Air Safety Network (ASN) ,this accident was also ,
