In a Shocking development, it's being learnt that an ATR aircraft belonging to the Precision Air has crashed into Lake Victoria, near the Bukoba Airport (HTBU) in Tanzania's Kagera region in the morning hours of November 6, 2022.
Search and Rescue operation continued on the Aircraft and accident area , and details of the aircraft are learnt to be — ATR 42-500 ( Regd. 5H-PWF / 2010 built ) installed with PW127E engines.
The Precision Air plane was doing a flight PW494 from Dares Salaam, as it plunged into the water body during the approach phase into Bukoba airport in unstable weather.

Preliminary information suggests , there were 49 passengers and 4 crew on board the 5H-PWF Aircraft that was doing the Flight PW494.
