Data Breach at Solairus Aviation - Yesterday, Private aviation player 'Solairus Aviation' announced of a security incident at third-party vendor 'Avianis' leading to data compromise of some employees & customers.
The data breach announcement, that came on March 23rd, is about the aviation business management platform provider Avianis, which notified on last December about an intrusion into Avianis' Microsoft Azure cloud platform, that hosts Solairus flight scheduling & tracking system.
Further investigation revealed that, some of Solairus’ data that was hosted on that environment was indeed accessed by an unknown threat.
Breached data might include employee & client names, along with information such as dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, passport numbers, & financial account numbers, the company said.
The company notes that both employees & clients should remain vigilant for any sign of unauthorized activity & to review their financial account statements for any unauthorized charges or activity.
