German airline Hahn Air , headquartered in Dreieich, offering business jet scheduled and charter flights within Europe, is going to become the 'Citation CJ3 Gen2' Launch Customer for the Region of Europe.

Textron Aviation today announced that Hahn Air has entered into a purchase agreement to be the European launch customer for the just-announced Cessna Citation CJ3 Gen2.
The deal, inked during the National Business Aviation Association – Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) event at Las Vegas, also includes a new Cessna Citation Latitude. Both aircraft are expected to deliver in 2026.
The Cessna Citation CJ3 Gen2 and Cessna Citation Latitude are designed and manufactured by Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. company.
Hahn Air took the occasion to the social media and said,

Hahn Air has been a loyal Citation operator for nearly two decades and exclusively services the company’s fleet at Textron Aviation’s Düsseldorf Service Center. The new Citation Latitude and CJ3 Gen2 will replace Hahn Air’s existing Citation Latitude and CJ3+.

Announced at NBAA-BACE, the Citation CJ3 Gen2 is currently under development and expected to enter into service in the U.S. in 2025.
The Cessna Citation CJ3 Gen2 redefines business aviation, setting new standards in the light jet market. Designed with pilot input, the cockpit boasts a spacious 4.5 inches of extra legroom for the pilot.
New, standard, full-regime autothrottles with under-speed and over-speed protection significantly improve the management of the Williams® FJ44-3A engines while reducing workload. The latest Garmin® G3000® avionics include easy-to-navigate touchscreen controllers with GDL®60 Datalink, creating more efficient flight plan loading and automatic database updates.
Cockpit crew can expect reduced workload and heightened situational awareness, as well as optional Enhanced Vision System (EVS) to provide improved clarity and optimized situational awareness.

Passengers will appreciate the spacious and customizable cabin where they can create their ideal environment with features such as optional swivel seating, RGB accent lighting, USB-C power at every seat, wireless charging, executive tables and ample storage.
The lavatory features CoolView skylights for natural light, an optional modern sink and vanity, and is externally serviceable for added convenience.
The Citation CJ3 Gen2 will offer standard seating for nine passengers, with an option for eight passengers with additional storage.
