A small aircraft of model Cessna 421C has crashed in a residential area in Fairview near Troutdale Airport. Heavy fire in several mobile homes and significant area power outage being reported.
Troutdale Airport is less than 2km from the crash area, and the aircraft crashed during a take-off action, while pilot faced control issues, details of which is not known yet.
A CCTV camera caught the aircraft crash moment, that started a huge fire in the Fairview neighborhood.
Multiple agencies responded to the accident, however, status on the injuries not known yet.
The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office says a small plane has crashed into a residential neighborhood in Fairview.
As per sources, the aircraft was a 1977 built Cessna 421C Golden Eagle with an U.S. registration N421GP.
