A structure fire that broke out at the Boeing South Carolina facility on 8th May, did not lead to personnel injuries or aircraft damages.
The fire, which was contained to the roof of one of the site’s buildings, was extinguished at around 2 p.m., according to a statement from Boeing South Carolina.
The fire did not damage any aircraft, according to the statement. Boeing is investigating the cause of the fire.
Boeing released the following statement:
“There was an isolated fire contained to the roof of one of the buildings at Boeing South Carolina. The fire has been extinguished, and there are no injuries nor aircraft damage. Boeing is investigating the cause of the fire. The primary concern is for the safety and welfare of our employees.”
