Brazilian Embraer Flashes it's Revised Turbo Prop aircraft Design with Empennage Mounted Propeller Engines.

Small commercial aircrafts and regional aircrafts saw its prominence , when international travel was hit by Pandemic Lock downs . Apart from narrow body Turbo fans, regional Turbo props were in high demand , due to its economical flying options.

Embraer in July 2020 , hinted plans of introducing a Turbo Prop aircraft to the Regional aircraft domain that would compete with Likes of  ATR 72 -600 series and Bombardier Q400 aircrafts.

Now, Embraer has a Revised design ready , and President and CEO Embraer Commercial Aviation said, 

Our next-gen turboprop design continues to develop. As well as being faster, with lower op costs, and with more personal space than others on the market, the rear mounted engines reduce cabin noise for a jet like experience.

With the New design , which is an Aircraft with Empennage mounted engines ,  Embraer expects Cabins to be Quieter than it's Competitors , and the experience can be comparable to Regional Jet engines.

Embraer is doing it's best to justify the plan for the new turboprop airliner and is eyeing a programme launch next year. 

The Brazilian planemaker had previously revealed that the new Turbo prop aircraft would be suitable to the 70-100 seat market. and the aircraft will come with two variants, one for 70 and one for about 90 seating capacity.

Embraer is not New to Turbo Prop market , it had introduced a small 30-seater "EMB-120 Brasilia" aircraft in the year 1985 , and after producing 354 units , it ceased the production in year 2001.
