"Türkiye Hava Yolları" - This will be the New name (brand) for the national carrier Turkish Airlines , as per Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan , amid his push for the country to be known internationally as “Türkiye” instead of “Turkey”.
It's Worth noting that , the phrase "Hava Yolları" refers to english word "Airlines" in Turkish Language .
"Turkey' no longer exists. It is Türkiye. From now on, we will write 'Türkiye Hava Yollari' instead of 'Turkish Airlines' on the bodies of our planes," Erdogan said at a ceremony to mark the launch of the country's new communications satellite.

Earlier in December 2021 , the Turkish government had decided to use "Türkiye" as the country's official name , citing reasons - that the original name better represents the country.
The Turkish government sent a letter to the United Nations in early June to formally register the country's name as "Türkiye."
It is being discussed in some circles that , the urge behind such renaming move is to dissociate the country's name from the "turkey" bird native to North America , instead adopt "Türkiye."
