Pakistani Civil Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan has put all the rumours to rest about privatisation of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), saying the government had no plan to sell it off.
He also said that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is getting four new aircrafts by the end of this year.
He was speaking at a press conference at PTI Public Secretariat at Rawalpindi , where the Aviation minister informed the press that Pakistan aviation industry is at a better state as far as losses are concerned , as other countries are doing bad in terms of Aviation losses , and according to International Air Transport Association(IATA) reports, the losses were around $400 billion.
He also blamed the previous government for the damages to the New Islamabad International Airport sustained during a recent rain incidednt, when its false ceiling collapsed under rain Pour.
