Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will not be Privatized , Rather Four More Aircrafts to be added this year !

He had said it in the National assemby in the month of April this year , and now he has repeated it, they will not Privatise the National Carrier !

Pakistani Civil Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan has put all the rumours to rest about privatisation of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), saying the government had no plan to sell it off.

He also said that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is getting four new aircrafts by the end of this year.

Efforts are on to make the national flag carrier a profitable organization.

He was speaking at a press conference at PTI Public Secretariat at Rawalpindi , where the Aviation minister informed the press that Pakistan aviation industry is at a better state as far as losses are concerned , as other countries are doing bad in terms of Aviation losses , and according to International Air Transport Association(IATA) reports, the losses were around $400 billion.
