In an unexpected development , Nose landing gear of F-35 fighter jet of the 121st Marine Fighter Attack Squadron Collapsed Resulting Nose section hit the ground !
Sources say, from the Marine Aircraft Wing of the U.S. Marine Corps in Okinawa - Japan, an F-35B Jet made a precautionary landing at Kadena Air Base at around 1:40 p.m. on the 1st November because it was suspected of having electrical problems.
After that , while towing of the aircraft was under progress , the incident happened , where the nose of the aircraft came into contact with the ground due to a failure of the Nose Landing Gear.
According to the Marine Corps, this fighter aircraft belongs to the amphibious assault ship "Tripoli" and is believed to be deployed at the US Marine Corps Iwakuni Base. Investigation of the cause of the Incident being carried out.
